The Council is seeking a number of organisations to provide Care and Protection of Moveable Property (Pets) services across Leicestershire.

The Framework has 3 elements

• Safe and secure collection of domesticated any animal from an address within the geographic

boundaries of Leicestershire

• The temporary safe accommodation and care of any domesticated animal

• Where the owner or person acting in the owner’s best interest relinquishes ownership either through death or agreement the animal must be rehomed where it is deemed appropriate and safe to do so for the animal and potential new carers/owners. Rehoming will be arranged with and supported by representatives of Adults and Communities Department

A Provider can apply to cover one or more elements of the Framework
