Explanation:
The Department for Transport intends to award the contract without a call for competition in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 ((32.2(b) ii and 32.5 (b)). No additional scope is intended. The contract duration is expected to be September 2023 to mid 2025. The existing contract has been delayed and modified due to UK covid restrictions. The next contract for this work will be openly tendered and potentially go live in late 2024 to early 2025.
