Lot 1 - Adults - The Council offers a range of support through existing home care contracts as a statutory duty under the Care Act 2014 for residents in need of care and support in the community. This support includes personal care, live-in care, nutrition, day support, specialist services to people in need of emotional and/ or physical support and access to the community. Lot 2 - Children's - Since the current framework for homecare services went live in 2017, Central Bedfordshire Council Children’s Services have worked with a small group of providers from the framework to deliver services to families with children primarily needing homecare, community access and sitting at home services.

This support includes personal care, live-in care, nutrition, day support, specialist services to people in need of emotional and/ or physical support and access to the community. Most of the support provided is to meet the personal care needs of older and frail people.

Since the current framework for homecare services went live in 2017, Central Bedfordshire Council Children’s Services have worked with a small group of providers from the framework to deliver services to families with children primarily needing homecare, community access and sitting at home services. Due to the small number of providers on the Children’s lots of the framework arrangements have been made to spot purchase a number of packages for families.
