ID 4780127 - PSNI - Vehicle Conversion Services - Conversion of Cell Vans and Evidence Gathering Trucks Lot 1 – Conversion of 15x Cell Vans Lot 2 – Conversion of 5x Evidence Gathering Trucks TSB is seeking to establish a multi lot contract for the provision of Cell Vans and Cell Vans with Evidence Gathering Equipment through conversion of Volkswagen Transporter long wheelbase vehicles. The competition will comprise of 2 lots as summarised in Section 5.1 below. TSB need to provide PSNI Officers with appropriately converted fleet vehicles to meet their range of operational policing requirements including the safe carriage of detained persons and evidence gathering equipment. Equipment carried within vans must be capable of being stored and carried in such a way that ensures it is kept separate from the driver and passengers in a contained area to prevent injury to all parties, including rescuers, should the vehicle become involved in a collision. Contract monitoring: the successful contractor’s performance on the contract will be regularly monitored. Contractors not delivering on contract requirements is a serious matter. It means the public purse is not getting what it is paying for. If a contractor fails to reach satisfactory levels of contract performance they will be given a specified time to improve. If, after the specified time, they still fail to reach satisfactory levels of contract performance, the matter will be escalated to senior management in construction and procurement delivery (CPD) for further action. If this occurs and their performance still does not improve to. satisfactory levels within the specified period, this may be considered grounds for termination of the contract at your expense as provided for in the Conditions of Contract. In lieu of termination, CPD may issue a Notice of Written Warning or a Notice of Unsatisfactory Performance. A supplier in receipt of multiple Notices of Written Warning or a Notice of Unsatisfactory Performance may, in accordance with The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended), be excluded from future public procurement competitions for a period of up to three years.
