Explanation:
The University has a requirement for a Cytek Aurora Spectral Flow Cytometer 5L with Enhanced Small Particle (ESP) detection option. This instrument uniquely combines speed, sensitivity, quantity, and multi-color cytomics approaches with patent-pending innovative technologies. It has the capability to measure the entire emission spectra of fluorescent dyes excited by multiple lasers installed on the instrument. The Cytek Aurora is the only spectral flow cytometry analyser that uses avalanche-photodiodes (APD) detector arrays to efficiently capture and detect light across a wide range of wavelengths.
The ESP detection option is particularly valuable as it enables improved detection and analysis of submicron-sized biological particles, such as extracellular vesicles, nanoparticles, or viral particles, which are challenging to detect using conventional flow cytometry techniques.
Therefore, the Cytek Aurora Spectral Flow Cytometer 5L with ESP detection option is the only solution that can fulfill all of the University's research needs
