United Utilities is currently reviewing their strategy for the Supply of CHP Engine Parts. By undertaking pre market research, the Company can then evaluate the current market capability and identify whether it is commercially viable to put in place multi supplier and multi lot arrangements if market capabilities vary.
The Scope shall include for all parts associated with repair and overhaul of the CHP engines required to support UU maintenance activities. United Utilities currently has a number of Jenbacher engines so may look to split the requirement to cover Jenbacher specific engine parts and generic CHP engine parts as follows:
