To the best of our knowledge there are 63 biomass pellet sites either owned by Nottinghamshire County Council or at a school within Nottinghamshire at the time of advertising this contract, not all of which purchase from the Council’s arranged contract.
The County Council can guarantee 17 sites which together consume in the order of 721 tonnes per annum (further information in Part 3, Specification, Appendix A).
There are 14 Nottinghamshire schools that order approx. 204 tonnes per annum from the current framework contract that are not guaranteed.
It is expected but not guaranteed that for the 17 guaranteed Sites, store cleans will be carried out a minimum of once every two years.
The schools other than the 17 guaranteed Sites are free to make their own arrangements for both wood pellet supply and store cleaning. The Council encourages all schools to use ENplus® class A1 wood pellets supplied by an ENplus accredited trader.
The Council makes no guarantee that supply quantities will be either maintained or exceeded over the period of the contract.
The Council reserves the right to add or delete properties during the life of the contract.
The contracted supplier will be advised by the Council when new sites are added to the contract or existing sites are deleted from the contract.
