The purpose of this tender is to put in place a Framework Agreement for the supply of X-Ray Contrast Media & Barium products to the participating Trusts of the East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative who are hosted by the University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The purpose of this tender is to put in place a Framework Agreement for the supply of X-Ray Contrast Media and Barium products to the participating Trusts.

The Supplier/s must be willing and able to respond to varying levels of service/product demands e.g. seasonal peaks and troughs in product requirements and respond to clinical change and development.

This is a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the EMPC and Supplier(s) agreement.

The current annual value with the EMPC members is £1.7m per annum or £6.8m over a 4 year period.
