Essex County Council (ECC) seeks input from the market to inform the scoping of a potential future procurement opportunity concerning a tool for the mapping of supply chains to provide visibility and to aid in the management and detection of risk. Our aim is to provide ECC with a modern, flexible, and cost-effective solution and we are looking for potential suppliers to engage with us on market solutions.

ECC seeks to engage with suppliers to explore market solutions for its future requirements. ECC welcomes interest from suppliers with expertise and experience in supporting supply chain mapping programmes, as well as those who can offer products that would enable ECC to conduct the same programmes itself. Native support for risk assessment would be desirable in the product but is not seen as essential.

This market engagement exercise is not linked to a specific tender opportunity. Suppliers who are not selected for engagement will not be precluded from any future tender opportunity.
