The Council seek a suitably qualified Ground Investigation and Civil Engineering company to carry out investigations and produce technical reports on four areas of the Belton Way, Cliff Parade and Cliff Garden slopes; intrusive ground investigations are required to obtain information on the existing ground conditions to inform the design of slope stability measures across the site. The contract will include producing satisfactory technical information to allow the Council to publish a tender for the cliff stabilisation works required for each area. The appointed firm will need to accept that the Council reserves the right to require that the GI Consultant under the appointment be novated and/ or procure collateral warranties/ letters of reliance from the consultant in favour of any design and build contractor the Council will appoint subsequently.
