two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Scottish Borders H&SC partnership have a strategic need to increase the availability of suitable housing and support arrangements to enable adults with a learning disability with complex support needs to move back to the Borders from out of area placements. This is in line with Scottish Governments Coming Home Report expectations.

Currently we have 17 people with complex needs for whom we need to develop such accommodation and support.

We are particularly interested in hearing from providers who are looking to provide both accommodation and support within the next 12 – 24 months. This will assist us to gain a clearer understanding of the gaps in market provision informing our future commissioning plans.
