The Cwm Taf Morgannwg Substance Misuse Area Planning Board (APB) is responsible for commissioning and co-ordinating substance misuse services throughout the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (UHB) area. The APB’s membership is multi-agency and includes senior representatives of the three Local Authorities within this boundary (Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf), Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (UHB), South Wales Police, Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office, Probation, Public Health Wales and Welsh Government.
This tender is for substance misuse services within the Bridgend region and will cover all aspects of substance misuse support and treatment related to adults, children and young people and their families in Bridgend that are traditionally considered under Tiers 1 and 2 of service delivery.

Enable early detection and support of individuals who are misusing substances
Provide high quality, evidence-based treatment and support according to service user need
Support service users to sustain long term recovery.
