This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice following a competitive process for NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Hub (Eastern Hub) .
The Eastern Hub provision supports Screening Centres in the delivery of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (NHS BCSP) in Midlands (East) and East of England. The aim of the NHS BCSP is to ultimately reduce mortality from bowel cancer by identifying disease or polyps which could lead to disease at an early stage.
The Eastern Hub will align to the national NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub Service Specification which aim to ensure a consistent and equitable approach across England, and to govern the provision and monitoring of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub Service.
The Service will commence on 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2030 (5 years), with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 4 years.
The total contract value including extensions is £65,916,576
