The Coal Authority invites you to tender for the provision of Scientific Services to support our Environment Strategy and Sustainability team in the development of novel treatment technologies and the improvement of existing treatment technologies on our schemes. In addition, the Coal Authority undertakes a range of works as part of a Public Safety & Subsidence activities that involve the monitoring and remediation of properties impacted by mining hazards including the build-up radioactive gases.

This framework will be to provide accredited laboratory and monitoring services for the laboratory analysis of water, solids and gases to support core and commercial project and operational activities related to mine water treatment and public safety and subsidence primarily.

It is intended that the framework will be comprised of 2 lots: Laboratory Analysis and Radiological Gas Monitoring.

The Provider will be expected to provide factual reporting of all monitoring with appropriate accreditation certificates where appropriate.
