The purpose of this service is to deliver a reliable and efficient transport service to adult social care service users in Knowsley. The tender will be split into the following lots;
Lot 1 – Transport to destinations in the North of the Borough
This lot includes transport for individuals where the end destination of their journey is in the North of Knowsley. This will include (but is not limited to) end destinations of Kirkby and Knowsley Village.
Lot 2 – Transport to destinations in the Centre of the Borough
This lot includes transport for individuals where the end destination of their journey is in the Centre of Knowsley. This will include (but is not limited to) end destinations of Huyton, Prescot and Whiston.
Lot 3 – Transport to destinations in the South of the Borough
This lot includes transport for individuals where the end destination of their journey is in the South of Knowsley. This will include (but is not limited to) end destinations of Halewood and Cronton.
Lot 4 – Transport to destinations Out of Borough
This lot includes transport for individuals where the end destination of their journey is outside of the Knowsley area.
Lot 5 – Ad-hoc transport (Inside and Out of Borough)
This lot will include transport requests for Adult Social Care outside of peak hours. This may include, but not be limited to, providing minibuses for day service users to go on day trips, one-off transport request for adult social care service users.
Lot 6 – Emergency transport (Inside and Out of Borough)
This lot will include transport requests that are of an urgent or un-planned nature.
