The Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner seeks to commission a Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Restorative Justice Service.The Restorative Justice Service will support the delivery of the Victim Code of Practice, provide a free, confidential, high quality service, raising awareness of and guiding and supporting victims who wish to explore a range of restorative interventions. The provider is expected to work in partnership with agencies, in particular those operating within the criminal justice arena. This is an integral part of the support system for victims of crime, who wish to participate in restorative justice.The service will commence 1st April 2025.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner seeks to commission a Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Restorative Justice Service from 1st April 2025.The Provider will deliver a range of victim-led restorative justice services, which are free, effective and help victims cope, recover and live fulfilling, independent lives. It will also engage offenders who wish to take part in restorative justice practices, to help them understand the impact of their behavior and to assist desistence of offending. The provider is expected to work in partnership with agencies, in particular those operating within the criminal justice arena and to build awareness and understanding of RJ and its potential benefits amongst partner agencies.
