This is a modification to an existing contract awarded pursuant to a further competition under the RM3825 Dynamic Purchasing System. The contract was awarded for a maximum term of 5 years which expires in August 2023.

The contract will be extended for a further 2 years as permitted by Regulation 72 (1) (b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Explanation:

The Contracting Authority is extending the contract for a period of 24 months. The contract provides critical connectivity for the Contracting Authority and the GP practice estate across the north east of England. The Contracting Authority has assessed that the modification is covered by Regulation 72 (1) (b). The increase in contract value is less than 50% of the initial contract value which was £5,426,000.00.
