Nottinghamshire County Council (The Council) has established an Independent / non-maintained special schools provider list, using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) under the Light Touch regime of the Public Contracts regulations 2015. The services cover the requirements for placements of children & young people in 2 / 3 independent/non-maintained special schools for education services in either day or residential settings made directly on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council in greater Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.
The Provider List became active on the 1st of September 2016 and is due to expire on the 31st of August 2023. The DPS has been extended for a seven (7) month period until the 31st of March 2024 to allow for the completion of the recommissioning process. The new expiry date is the 31st of March 2024 (unless terminated earlier). This notice is to advise the Commission of the change in the period of validity of the DPS.
