two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Wokingham Borough Council are inviting tenders for the provision of the supply and delivery of wheeled bins. The Council currently collects general waste via blue bags but during the summer of 2024 are implementing general waste collections via wheeled bins. The Council requires a supplier to provide between 63,000 – 67,000 180 litre black bins and 2,000 - 4,000 240 litre black bins to one central location by July 2024. The deliveries will need to be staggered over the period of May 2024 to the end of July 2024 with the initial delivery of 10,000 bins to be delivered in May and then will require to liaising with the bin distribution company with regards to the remainder of the bin deliveries, to coincide with delivery schedules to residents.
