Please note all information provided is indicative and for information purposes only.
Rutland County Council (the Council) is looking to put in place a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of domestic homecare services.
The services required are support and care at home using an outcome-based personalised care model for service users assessed as needing packages of care for short, medium or long-term durations, including carer respite.
Currently, the Council spends approximately £1m per annum in total across all its homecare providers.
Prior to commencement of procurement activity, the Council is holding a market engagement event with the aim of providing information to suppliers on the process for the proposed subsequent procurement.
Details of the event are as follows:
Date - 21st September 2022
Time - 15:00 hours to 16:00 hours
Venue - via Teams
The event will be hosted by a representative of the Council and will be attended by a representative from the Council's procurement partner, Welland Procurement.
Suppliers wishing to attend this event should email Tony Brooks at tbrooks@rutland.gov.uk by 14:30 hours on 21st September 2022.
Following the event, the Council's intention is to undertake a compliant procurement exercise which will be advertised through "Find a Tender", for the Provision of Domestic Homecare Services. The Council expects this to be during October 2022.
Please note that participation (or lack of) will not (dis)advantage any potential bidder for future tender opportunities.
