The Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB, Digitising Social Care Team invite qualified and experienced providers to submit tenders for a new technology-enabled smart medication device and support service. This NHSE/DHSC funded project aims to explores the potential of smart medication devices to help people in receipt of domiciliary care, manage their prescription medication schedules, symptoms, and changes.
Key Details:
• The provider is required to supply, fill, monitor and respond to technology-enabled smart medication devices for 1,800 people living in their own homes, over a 14-month period.
• The provider is expected to develop effective protocols and procedures.
• The provider is required to contribute and support a comprehensive evaluation which is being undertaken by the University of Lancaster.
