The aim of the service is for Independent Chair/Authors to undertake reviews of Domestic Homicide/Suicides and Safeguarding Adults Reviews.
The Liverpool Community Safety Partnership (CSP), has a statutory duty to facilitate Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) for Liverpool. The Liverpool City Council Safer and Stronger Communities Team coordinates the reviews on behalf of the CSP.
The Liverpool Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) must arrange a Safeguarding Adults Review when an adult in its area dies because of abuse or neglect, whether known or suspected, and there is concern that partner agencies could have worked more effectively to protect the adult.
