Amey TPT on behalf of Transport for Wales is looking to share an upcoming pipeline of commercial opportunities for retail, catering and leisure businesses. These opportunities involve leasing well-positioned, functional spaces across the TfW network, encompassing key stations such as Newport, Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Porth, Chester, Cardiff Central and the Cardiff Bus Interchange. The Cardiff Bus Interchange is in the Central Square development in Cardiff City Centre and is a purpose-built bus station with 14 bays. The site has been strategically chosen to sit alongside Cardiff Central train station to promote a comprehensive intermodal travel network for Wales.

We have a number of smaller retail opportunities that would suit SME organisations or those who are new to working on the rail network. We are able to provide support to organisations to make the most of the commercial opportunities available across the TfW network.

To better inform the marketplace, TfW and Amey TPT are holding a market engagement event on Friday 8th September 2023 at 10:00am, on Microsoft Teams, to discuss the opportunities in further detail and gauge interest. To register your interest, please email supplychain@tfw.wales.
