Nottinghamshire County Council is intending to procure a strategic service to lead, coordinate and represent all domestic abuse survivor voices across Nottinghamshire, amplifying their voice to policy and commissioning leads in local government (including social care), police and health services via the Local Partnership Board. Information shared to improve service development and strategic planning.
The service will listen, collate and feed back the authentic voices of survivors and their children to underpin developments and decisions on service provision and provide representation to the Local Partnership Board. This service will need to consider and engage survivors with all protected characteristics.

The Council's provisional expectations of the service are set out below:
Year 1 - (anticipated funding £50K)
• Establish links to all domestic abuse support providers across the county and processes to
collate survivor feedback
• Develop an inclusive brand(s)/hashtag(s) collaboratively with survivors,
• Develop reach to all survivors, women, men and children
• Build the survivor network and promote the service across the county
• Develop inclusive approaches (face to face and virtual) to gain survivor voices, maintaining
safety and considering trauma
• Attend the Local Partnership Board to represent survivors voice (Quarterly)
• Develop routes to share information with survivors, aligning with Equation who deliver the
Promotion, Prevention and Training contract
• Seek survivor views on safe accommodation options/journeys – what works, what could be
better by 31 March 2022
• Link with the commissioned deep dive reviews to triangulate findings with local survivors
Year 2 (anticipated funding £20K) and Year 3 (anticipated funding £20K)
• Manage and collate the survivor feedback via systems developed in year 1
• Attend Local Partnership Board (Quarterly) – 4 meetings
