We are committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions and 100% clean energy use by 2030. We want to create a healthier place to live and benefit the local economy. We can’t fix the climate emergency alone – we need everyone in Blackpool to help. Council services, businesses and residents all need to work together to deliver real change.

Description of renewals

The initial Contract period will be 18 months, after such time the Authority may extend the Contract by any number of defined periods, provided that the total duration does not exceed 54 months. As outlined within the specification, the delivery of services is to be completed within the 18 month Initial Contract Term. There will be an option to extend the contract by up to a further 36 months of which it may be:

• A 3 month extension for Monitoring services only (this will not be SPF funded);

• Up to a 36 month delivery extension;

• Both of the above (the initial 3 months being monitoring and delivery and the remaining 33 months being delivery only).
