two.2.4) Description of the procurement

NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) is working on behalf of NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB), which wishes to commission a non-clinical ADHD support service for adults.

The Integrated Care Board (ICB) intends to award a contract using the Most Suitable Provider process.

The contract will ideally commence on 1st September 2024 and will be a 2-year contract without any extension options available. The value for the contract will be £90,000 per annum, so will total £180,000 over the 2-year period.

To be considered as the most suitable provider, providers are requested to review the Service Specification and complete a short questionnaire available at:

Providers are asked to note that the information will be available for 14 days from the date of this notice. Providers are required to complete the information by 12pm on Friday 9th August 2024.

six.3) Additional information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

The Integrated Care Board (ICB) intends to award a contract using the Most Suitable Provider process.

The decision was taken by NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB - St Helens Place Leadership Team on 30th May 2024.
