This is a Prior information Notice for the commission of an Evaluation Partner for the London's Violence Reduction Units Inclusive and Nurturing Schools Programme.
The programme aims to reduce school exclusions and ensure pupils have healthy relationship behaviours and attitudes, supporting the whole school community to become more inclusive, nurturing and safe. The programme also provides tools and training for teachers to support vulnerable pupils in a targeted trauma-informed way, as well as upskilling professionals working in and with the schools.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Violence Reduction Unit will be commissioning an Evaluation Partner for the Inclusive and Nurturing Schools Programme. The programme aims to reduce school exclusions and ensure pupils have healthy relationship behaviours and attitudes, supporting the whole school community to become more inclusive, nurturing and safe. The programme also provides tools and training for teachers to support vulnerable pupils in a targeted trauma-informed way, as well as upskilling professionals working in and with the schools.
The Evaluation Partner will design and deliver a high-quality evaluation to explore the impact of the programme in relation to its desired outcomes and embed a legacy of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The maximum budget for the evaluation is £180,000 over 27 months with the expectation to extend a further 3.5 years for a longitudinal evaluation.
Eligibility/core capabilities of the provider: Capacity and experience leading evaluation programmes which involve stakeholders at many levels; Knowledge of and experience working within the London education landscape, including working with primary, secondary and SEND schools; Experience measuring the impact of education programmes and interventions, ideally across multiple sites; Capability and expertise conducting longitudinal research and impact analysis.
