UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 2021 REOPENING OF THE FLEXIBLE FRAMEWORK

The previously advertised flexible framework relative to Early Learning and Childcare Places commenced on 24 May 2021. In accordance with its terms, it is now being opened for New Entrants to be admitted under the same requirements as the original tender exercise and as noted herein.

Renfrewshire Council Children’s Services manages the provision of Scottish Government Funding in respect of eligible pre-school children (“Child” or “Children”) who attend nurseries or Childminders (Settings) within the Renfrewshire Council area.

The Council intend to seek services through a Flexible Framework. The initial term of this Flexible Framework Contract is anticipated to commence in April 2021 to April 2024 with the option to extend on two further one year periods. Any Call-Off Contracts placed under the Flexible Framework may extend further than the Flexible Framework period.

Providers must have a current Health and Safety Policy & risk assessments, Policies updated to include Covid-19 measures.

Must be registered with the Care Inspectorate for Child Day-Care services.

Both Lots - Providers must hold registration with the Care Inspectorate for delivery of Child Day-Care Services.

Lot 1 Registered Child Day-Care Providers - All members of staff involved in the delivery of this contract should be appropriately qualified and registered with SSSC.

Lot 2 Registered Childminders - Individuals involved in the delivery of this contract will be required to evidence that they have/have applied for/are currently undertaking the benchmark qualification.
