two.1.4) Short description

NHS England (NHSE - the Authority) will be commencing two Market Engagement Events for the delivery of children and young people’s mental health education and training programmes.

To support the continued delivery of children and young people’s mental health education and training programmes, as well as supporting the continued growth and development of this workforce, it is intended that NHSE WT&E will conduct a number of key procurements within the 2024/25 financial year, comprising of:

1. Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) and EMHP Supervisor training
2. Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) and CWP Supervisor Training
3. Senior Wellbeing Practitioner (SWP) inclusive of SWP Supervisor upskilling CPD opportunities
4. Children and Young People’s (CYP) Psychological Trainings (previously known as CYP IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), and/or CYP Recruit to Train).
5. CYP Inpatient Whole Team Training and Senior Leadership Training

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This PIN (Prior Information Notice) is to advise prospective providers of our intention.

We plan to hold 2 Market Engagement Sessions on Wednesday 7th August 2024 to share more information with organisations interested in this work. The event will provide an opportunity for potential providers to find out more about the aims of the tender and the anticipated procurement process, to participate in general discussion and to network.

The 1st event will take place on Wednesday 7th August 2024 09:00-10:00 and cover:

• Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) and EMHP Supervisor training
• Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) and CWP Supervisor Training
• Senior Wellbeing Practitioner (SWP) inclusive of SWP Supervisor upskilling CPD opportunities

The 2nd event will take place on Wednesday 7th August 2024 15:00-16:00 and cover:

• Children and Young People’s (CYP) Psychological Trainings (previously known as CYP IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), and/or CYP Recruit to Train).
• CYP Inpatient Whole Team Training and Senior Leadership Training

Please RSVP via. the Atamis portal by Friday 2nd August 17.00 by completing the form attached within the documents section of Atamis. Attendance is limited to 3 individuals per organisation per event. Please note that data may be available to others while attending this Market Engagement Event session.

An invite to the MS Teams session will be sent prior to event on the 7th August 2024.

NHS England will use the opportunity to gather intelligence and may influence and inform the development of the final tender.

The contracting authority reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time.

If the Authority decides to proceed with the opportunity, the procurement will be conducted under PCR 2015 (Public Contracts Regulations 2015), where a separate advert will be released advertising the opportunity.
