The UK Research Partnership Investment Fund is a £900m+ competitive capital scheme designed to support higher education research facilities.
Research England, who manage the fund on behalf of UKRI and the devolved nations, are seeking a supplier to deliver an evaluation of the fund. The evaluation will be to understand the extent to which the programme has met its objectives, its socio-economic impact, the effectiveness of this type of programme and reasons for this, as well as any disbenefits.
RE have previously commissioned the development of an evaluation framework, and this should be reviewed and built on for this evaluation. Outputs will likely include a revised logic model, proposed performance dimensions and KPIs for measuring impact, and a reporting process, schedule and templates. There will be an interim and full evaluation phase with a draft and final report expected after each.
Estimated value: £300,000 – £500,000.
