two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The service is for the provision of the Quadruple test screening for Downs syndrome. It is part of the NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme. Antenatal Screening Services are a sensitive service that can only be delivered by government approved trusts. Antenatal Screening is part of a national screening programme therefore can only be conducted in certain Laboratories in the country.

The Authority is intending to award the contract to an existing provider following the direct award process C.
The lifetime value of this contract is estimated to be £19,800.
The contract dates are 1/6/25 to 31/5/28.

Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight on 30 May 2025.
