two.1.4) Short description

Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is planning to publish a tender opportunity for the Syria Education Programme II (SEP-II) in September 2022. The Opportunity Notice and Contract Notice will be published in the Contract Finder and Finder the Tender Services (FTS) respectively to alert the market and provide the instruction on how to access the tender documents.

SEP-II is the successor programme to SEP which reached over 580,000 children in Northwest Syria. SEP-II has been designed to deliver the UK’s commitment to girls’ education and aims to enhance equitability of education for girls and boys by strengthening the quality and inclusivity of formal primary education in Northwest Syria.

A market engagement event was previously held in February 2022 (Notice 2022/S 000-003430). Documentation from this event can be found on the Jaggaer platform under PQQ_1275 together with background information on SEP-I.
