This opportunity is to introduce a Framework for Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) workshops and design programmes for young people aged 9-14.

Both the workshop and design elements will support the RAF Youth & STEM’s objectives to inspire a future generation to study STEM subjects at GCSE and develop a more diverse and skilled future talent pool to address the national STEM skills shortage. The shortage is particularly acute among women and the socially disadvantaged – both areas that are specifically targeted by the RAF Youth & STEM programme.

It is expected that up to 150 STEM workshops will be required to be delivered each year both face to face and virtually with half day and full day options made available. Workshops will need to be delivered throughout the United Kingdom and at overseas locations (tbc). Workshops and STEM resources will need to be curriculum mapped and be linked to the following topics:

- Coding

- Robotics

- Cyber

- Forces

- Principles of Flight

- Mindsets

- Energy

- Space

- Electronics

- Net Zero

The Framework will be made available to all UK contracting authorities and be valid for 5 years. Successful suppliers on the Framework will have the opportunity to apply for future requirements through "Call-Off" or "Mini Competition".

It is the Authority's intention is to select the highest scoring suppliers who will be invited to tender providing they meet the overall score of a pass within the PQQ. If a supplier receives a fail to any question within the PQQ, they will automatically fail the evaluation and not be invited to participate further.
