3. SCOPE & SPECIFICATION

3.1. We are seeking to appoint one supplier for supply of extract fans for use in domestic properties.

3.2. The fans are for use in kitchens, bathrooms, toilets etc to improve air quality and reduce moisture/mould in residential properties. The fans will be wall, ceiling and window mounted. As detailed in Document 5 (Fan Specification Summary)

3.3. Estimated annual spend of £1,000,000.

3.4. The estimated annual value is detailed above this is based on the current proposed program. KWL can offer no guarantee of spend, volume or frequency of orders made to any supplier.

3.5. The supplier must note that the service to be provided is not an exclusive arrangement and in order to meet the conditions of our contracts KWL may seek other suppliers in the event of service failure, excessive lead times or change in quality etc.

3.6. The contract will be for a 2-year period commencing on 1st January 2025. The contracts may be extended for a further 2-year period (2 + 1 + 1 Year) subject to a value for money review which will take into account cost, performance and quality delivered during the original contract term.
