seven.2.1) Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):
Contract start date for Lot 1 only will be 01 March 2026 instead of 01 September 2025.
seven.2.2) Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee.
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
This modification is in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(c)(i) and (ii). This modification is required to allow the contractor a further period of time in which to implement the contract due to unforeseen circumstances with their manufacturer, as a result of non-compliance to Medical Device Regulations (MDR) moving from IVD to IVDR compliance. This could not have been foreseen by the Contracting Authority so a six month remedial period has been granted to the Contractor which will delay the Contract start date for their Lot only.
