Explanation:
The Royal Marsden needs to purchase Software licenses for integration of Aria with the new EPR from Varian. There is no other vendor who can supply this product / service. Only Varian can provide the Trust with the necessary licenses. The product Aria we use is from Varian and it is a medical product. Varian are the only vendor who provides service / maintenance and licenses for this product. No other company offers this as it would be impossible for them to provide the service.
The Trust is intending to buy:
- Professional services to implement a paperless workflow and an integration with the EPIC EPR system
- Additional training resources
- HL7 licenses to enable scheduling, document and daily record exchange with the EPR
- Additional ARIA licenses to support paperless working
