This is a Request for Information (RFI) as HIAL have a requirement for the development of Airport Fire Service Training to incorporate technological advances and new approaches to training and competence with a decrease in the use of kerosene, LPG and carbonaceous fires.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

HIAL are in the process of transitioning towards a training and competence model that ensures firefighter and incident command competence with a decrease in the use of kerosene, lpg and carbonaceous fires.

The intent is, where possible, to utilise alternative means of ensuring competence. It is envisioned that these alternative means may include digital simulation, virtual reality, use of synthetic smoke and associated equipment.

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks Innovative approaches to how new technology can support competence.
