two.2.4) Description of the procurement

A call off from CCS National Fuels Framework RM6177 for the provision of 3 types of Fuel Oil (Red Diesel, Kerosene and White/Clear Diesel ).

Gas Oil (Red Diesel) and Kerosene are used to power heating systems in schools across the EA estate and DERV Oil (White / Clear Diesel) is exclusively used for vehicles.

The total value of the procurement detailed in II.1.7 is the highest value estimated in the following range £18,600,000 - £40,200,000. The value has been calculated based on historic spend and a contingency uplift to allow for increases in the cost of fuel, and for the potential for new school sites that do not currently use the EA contract to be added on

This is a compliant award of a Call-Off Contract from the CCS National Fuels RM6177 framework with LCC Group Ltd. The original Framework was awarded in 2020, as per notice 2020/S 180-435822 following an Open procurement process in compliance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
