Network Rail intends to procure a framework for the services within the Eastern Region. The framework will be for Mobile Welfare Hire and Servicing.
The geographical scope for this framework tender will be Network Rail's Eastern Region. This covers the East Coast main line from London to the Scottish Border, including stations along the route include, Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, Bradford, Huddersfield as well as many others.
This market engagement event seeks to update the market on the expected future requirement.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The services comprise the hire and servicing of transient site welfare facilities for Network Rail’s Eastern Region. The contract is to ensure the provision of modern and appropriate site welfare facilities that will safeguard the general health and safety and well-being of our site staff.
The scope of the framework is to cover the hire and servicing of the following items;
• Single Toilet Unit
• Stand-alone Toilet Block – 2 cubicles and 2 urinals
• Stand-alone Toilet Block – 4 cubicles and 3 urinals
• Welfare unit and 1 toilet for 6 people
• Welfare unit and 1 toilet for 10 people and external lighting
• Welfare unit with office and 1 toilet for 10 people and external lighting
• Secure tool store (non-towable)
• Tower light (towable)
• Mobile CCTV (towable)
Other
All units must meet Network Rail standard NR/L3/INI/CP0036 and adhere to any relevant standards and procedures for working on or near the infrastructure when delivering and collecting.
While details as to the type of services, estimated value, duration and Lots which are
mandatory fields in the online form have not been specified in this notice, they will be
confirmed in the subsequent contract notice, as informed by the market engagement
exercise being conducted by Network Rail.
