two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) wish to inform the market that they are planning to procure the provision of Therapeutic Support for Children and Young People (CYP) who are at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), and Consultation and Training.

This service will:

- Provide therapeutic support to young people, their parents, families and carers where the young person is assessed as being at risk of CSE;

- Provide advice to health and social care staff, their parents and carers where there are concerns in relation to CSE; and

- Increase the skills and knowledge of a range of Health and Social Care sector staff in relation to the issue of CSE through the delivery of training.

The purpose of this market engagement is to raise awareness of an upcoming procurement and gauge the level of interest in the provision of such services in advance of any formal tender process.
