two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Sunderland College has a requirement to contract for the provision of safe, reliable and suitable transportation to transport potential students from their local community to place of study at one of the College’s campuses. The Tenderer will have a duty of care when carrying out students and as such will be required to adhere to prevent.

The College is looking for the best value for money solutions and would therefore welcome alternative proposals from Tenderers for the respective routes to be covered, their relevant route timetables, and all related costs.

The College wishes to appoint a successful contractor(s) who will have a duty of care when carrying our passengers. The successful contractor(s) will be an integral part of our business and it is essential that passenger safety and passenger care are a top priority for operators to follow.

The provision has been split into Lots to support Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Tenderers must identify in their response which Lot the
