Conflict of interest
One conflict of interest was removed from the procurement exercise and had no involvement in the decision making process, delegating the matter to non-conflicted decision-makers.
The Key Criteria were assessed based on the original specification set by the clinical team to show what the exact requirements are reviewing requirements within Quality and Innovation,
Value, Reducing Health Inequalities and Better Access to Care and Social Value. This allowed a thorough review of the Trust requirements to show the contract can deliver and improve on all Key Criteria.
The incumbent supplier has established strong connections within the local community across Camden, making a positive impact on reduction of service users attending GP/Acute Hospital and A&E admissions.
The KPI's have been met by the supplier throughout the contract, delivering positive results to enhance service user experience helping to reduce stressors on already over subscribed urgent services. the Trust has seen an improvement across the Camden area.
The team assessed how the incumbent would deliver the new requirement to continue to achieve improved targets and how the supplier can positively impact the Trust.
The same supplier will be able to fulfil the requirement stipulated delivering on value and improved access to care for support to service users.
