UKRI is sponsored by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and supports activities and events that inspire and engage people and promote positive climate action. Gamification is one approach to increasing public engagement with climate research and we are keen to explore the ways in which it provides a way of reaching audiences who are currently less engaged with research and innovation, specifically on the themes of COP26. UKRI is seeking a supplier who are able to design and oversee the successful delivery of a national gaming or game making public engagement programme that increases public engagement with COP26 themed research amongst specific identified communities, including but not limited to: climate change and nature based solutions to reaching net zero, adaptation and resilience, and clean transport UKRI will be holding a supplier day via zoom on 9th September 2021,commencing at 10:30 BST - more details available in II.2.14 Additional Information
