This is a Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) Notice. This notice is to indicate that NHS24 intends to contract with Insite Group for the provision of urgent office fit out works.

NHS24 is required to undertake urgent fit out works at its new office space within Caledonian House - Dundee. these works are required to be fully completed by early November to ensure delivery of critical NHS24 health services are not impacted over the festive and winter period.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This is a Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) Notice. This notice is to indicate that NHS24 intends to contract with Insite Group for the provision of urgent office fit out works. NHS24 is required to undertake urgent fit out works at its new office space within Caledonian House - Dundee. These works are required to be completed in early November to ensure delivery of critical NHS24 health services are not impacted over the festive and winter period.

NHS24's landlord is currently undertaking Category A fit out works with its contracted provider, Insite Group, for the whole site. To ensure the office space is operational by early November, NHS24 intends to contract directly with Insite group to take control of the Cat A work for its two suites while concurrently undertaking the Category B fit out works. This is to try and ensure NHS 24 has additional capacity due to anticipated winter pressures on the Health Service and NHS 24 expanded role

Explanation:

NHS24 has been given funding from the Scottish Government to urgently increase capacity to deliver critical health services. To ensure these services are operational by early November there is no scope to conduct a competitive procurement procedure.
