The key services being sought are in relation to Fire Door Inspections contract are planned inspections and reporting on the condition of existing fire doors located in properties that operate on a 24/7 365 days a year basis in various properties throughout the NHSDG Estate.

List and brief description of conditions

It is a mandatory requirement that the successful contractor inspectors must, as a minimum, hold a City and Guilds Fire Door Inspection Certificate or equal and approved.

It is a mandatory requirement of NHSDG that all contractors must be registered as CHAS Advanced members proof of registration will be required prior to acceptance of any contractor. If not CHAS Advanced registered at the time of submission of the SPD, then a stated undertaking that if successful at the ITT stage this will be achieved within six months of contract award is acceptable at this stage.
