The council is seeking to set up a framework of suitably qualified suppliers to provide Groundworks and Masonry Works in Schools and Corporate Buildings. The requirements of each project will vary, however the following are some of the typical examples of the works likely to fall within this contract:Excavations, concreting and drainage works Brickwork including new construction, re-pointing, installing lintels, structural repairs, blocking up openings and other associated masonry alterationsMinor demolition and site clearance including breaking-out masonry, structural proppingConcrete and ornate slabbing, kerbing, macadam surfacing and basic landscaping worksMetalwork including fencing, railing, bollards, barriers, formed sheets and flat sheeting (of void properties)The works required will vary in accordance with individual client and bespoke building requirements.
