There will also be additional optional elements of the contract which the trust can choose to take up at their discretion, including catering services and support for other schools in the MAT and other schools to which the MAT delivers currently. Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:
Following evaluation of responses to the SQ, it is envisaged that the five (5) highest scoring Bidders, up to a maximum of eight (8) Bidders, who pass section one to seven will be deemed to pre-qualify for short listing to the ITT stage. If in any case Bidders have equal points, the Authority reserves the right to select the Bidders based on: a) Highest combined section six and seven scoring; if still equalb) Highest section six scoring; if still equalc) Bidders will progress to the ITT stage.When there is a distinct gap in the final scores, this may be used to determine the exact number of Bidders invited to tender.

Please see tendering documentation for a list of the options included within this tender. The core contract value for Holyrood and Neroche is estimated to be around £290k - £320k per annum (£1.45m - £1.60m over 5 years). The full contract value is estimated to be in the region of £1.62 - £1.79m per annum (£8.15 - £8.97m over 5 years). This full contract value includes all optional elements of this contract, in order to allow these to be incorporated into this contract should the Trust elect to take these up. However, only the provision of meals at Holyrood and Neroche will form the initial service under this contract.
