Orbit Group Ltd are issuing this prior information notice to invite companies to participate in the market engagement event in support of Orbit’s upcoming requirements for the provision of grounds maintenance services. The provision of these services will relate to works carried out on all Orbit Estates across its property portfolio in the Midlands (Central & North) area.
Orbit Group Ltd would like to invite interested parties to attend a market engagement event to be held on 18th July 2024 at 1:00pm. The event will consist of a remote briefing providing you with an outline of the opportunity. Please see below for details of how to submit an expression of interest (EOI).

The scope of this ‘Expression of Interest’ covers Grounds Maintenance Services in the Midlands (Central & North) consisting of c.214 estates.
Potential suppliers whom have the capability to fulfil each of the below key requirements to Orbit’s portfolio, are invited to express their interest:

(ii) Hedge Maintenance
(iii) Shrub/Plant Pruning
(iv) Hard Surface Areas
(v) Ivy Control
(vi) Trees – Removal of Epicormic and Basal Growth
(vii) Moss & Algae Control
(viii) Litter Picking/Needles/Excrement
(ix) Litter Bins
(x) Dog Bins
(xi) Japanese Knotweed/and other invasive/pernicious/injurious plants/injurious insects

Potential suppliers who respond to the PIN will be invited to a briefing presentation, hosted by Orbit via Teams on 18th July 2024 at 1:00pm, where Orbit shall present and discuss in more detail its objectives and requirements.
Currently there is no need to register for the tendering process but responding to the PIN allows the Contracting Authority (Orbit) to keep you continuously informed about the activities relating to appointing supplier(s) for Grounds Maintenance services.
Non-participation in this market engagement will not be taken into account in any future procurement activities and will not exclude any organisation from submitting a tender in any future competitions.
The contracting authority considers that this scope may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as large enterprises.
All ‘Expressions of Interest’ must be submitted through the Orbit Pro-Contract ‘Housing Procurement Portal’ (https://www.housingprocurement.com) by fully completing and uploading the document attached to the portal ‘Expression of Interest Response — Grounds Maintenance Midlands (Central & North)’ by no later than 12:00 noon (GMT) on 17th July 2024.
