Non-urgent, planned and unplanned transportation of patients, with a medical need for transport, to and from a premises providing NHS healthcare and between NHS healthcare providers. This includes the Enhanced Priority Service for patients receiving Renal Dialysis or Oncology treatments .

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB has awarded a 1 year contract via Direct award C to the incumbent provider to deliver the Non Emergency Patient Transport Services in Cheshire. The contract started on the 1st of April 2025, will expire on 31st March 2026 and has an estimated annual contract value of £11,979,078. This is an indicative value based on historic expenditure and may be subject to change.
