PRELIMINARY MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT Wednesday 18/03/2026

The Council is seeking to engage with partners and organisations to gather information and explore potential models for Children and Young People Social Prescribing and Youth Outreach Mental Health Services to to strengthen mental health support for children and young people across Derbyshire.

On the 10/02/2026 we invited the market to complete a survey and attend an in-person event on Wednesday 18th March 10am - 12pm at Parkwood Centre, Alfreton Park, Wingfield Road, Alfreton, Derbyshire , DE55 7AL.

The purpose of this event will be to give an overview of the proposals, give feedback from the survey results so far, and to discuss in more detail some of the considerations.

If you wish to attend the event please email gemma.ashby@derbyshire.gov.uk, with company and attendee details. This is to help us plan and manage the session.

DCC will be open to bids from consortia with a lead provider or sole providers who can demonstrate how they would deliver the contract across the county footprint (excluding Derby City).

The contract length currently under consideration will be for an initial 3 years from 01 April 2027, with the option to extend for further 2 periods of twelve months (+1+1). The funding for the model is allocated in the region £1.3 million per annum. This will be finalised ahead of any procurement.
